My Work

I have a camera. I have a pen. I ask questions. My compass points to the intersection of community, difference, and experience.
I want my work to be empathic and grounded in hope. I want my work to be something that shows the humanness in every experience. I want the marks and the lines and the feel to draw you into yourself and then back out into action. I want you to feel the ground you stand on and the responsibility of that. I want you to grieve and celebrate. I want to set up speed bumps to be in big emotions. I want to build parades for big wins. I want to create work that reminds you of your humanity. I want to encourage your voice to be louder and steadier. I want to reach over with a high five and say “you matter, thank you.”
